Theres something about this time of the year that makes me a little bit more positive, no matter what else is going on. Baking with girlfriends is bliss. Comfort foods are just extra good with cold weather
I'm on the search for a Canada Goose parka in the city. I saw a boy on campus wearing a grey one during the fall, and just fell in love with its simple design and almost industrial look. They've been catching my eye since, especially while I was in Montreal and Vancouver. Looks like something someone would wear on an arctic expedition. I will probably buy online but I want to try one on first. Its a coat thats built to last and perfect for freezing Edmonton winters. As well as classically stylish season after season. Does anyone know where they sell these parkas for women in Edmonton?
I am also on the search for a wedge bootie. I crave the comfort of a wedge. Inspiration taken from these three
Splurge Parka Moose Knuckles $790 Available at The Bay
I'm really digging these blowouts. Sleek and glamorous, with the part a little bit to the side. My hair is coarse and naturally wavy/curly and often up in a bun. But when I feel like looking nice and have the time, I go straight to my Chi
These nails really popped out at me while reading this months Glamour mag. I plan to try it when I get some time in the next couple weeks. The hardest part will probably be filling my nails to an oval shape, but I plan to make a sticker from painters tape so I can neatly paint the black half moons, rather than by hand. I love nail art, sucks my polish chips so fast!
Simple outfit for a day of shopping at West Edmonton Mall (it was not a successful one, I cant shop well with others!) I did run into another edmontonian blogger who works at the wonderful store Aritzia. Check out her blog about fashion, food, culture and life here
Top: Gap ( I own way to many long sleeve black tees)
Even more! A mascara, eyeliners, lip liners and some cream shadows
Review: I havn't had enough time to play around with it yet. But already i'm a little disappointed that the lip glosses are not lipsticks, the dark ones just seem to all go on red. Mostly because i'm really craving a cranberry lipstick and I thought I could use this. I really like the cream eye shadows and over all it is a pretty good deal for it all. Hope everyones having a great weekend!
Top: H&M for the lovely price of 19.99 wish I had gotten some more colors
Skirt: Urban Behavior
Scarf hood: True Value Vintage( Vancouver) 25$
Shoes: purchased today at Spring for half price!
I had tried these on a couple of times, and the last week they were $50 on clearance. But i'm happy I waited a little bit longer, for today they were $35. Getting great sales make me so hesitant to buy anything at regular price!
I bought this dress at True Value Vintage Clothing. I highly recommend you check out this shop if your ever in the Vancouver area. It's amazing, I could of spent hours digging through all the unique pieces and treasures. As well as the new clothes they carry are very nice and affordable, like my mini dress. They sell accessories, new apparel, vintage and collectibles
Hello again, sorry its been a while, varsity sport(wrestling) has taken over my life. It's been a very busy three weeks. Calgary, Montreal, and Vancouver have all been crammed in there. But I will finally have some spare time soon and I can't wait to do some blogging and picture taking. Vancouver and Montreal have been inspirational, these pictures also help me step out of hoodies and sweat pants. Thanks for reading
Good bye lilac, pink and orange
